We’re thrilled to have you here! The FMS PTO is a small group of parents and caregivers who, together with the FMS Administration, are dedicated to making things a little better for our students, families, teachers and school staff as well as strengthening the school community.
We raise money to fulfill immediate teacher and student needs at the school. These can be simple things like playground equipment, safety items, displays, and other learning materials for special projects and bigger things like guest speakers and supplementing field trips and class funds.
We raise funds in two ways, (1) our Annual Campaign Drive, which is direct donations from families and businesses, and (2) kickback events at restaurants and local sports games where we earn a percentage of the profit from ticket sales and raffles.
Additionally, we host social events for the FMS students and community like Harvest Fest, Skate Nights, Movie Nights and more!

As our students move on throughout the schools, so do our PTO Board Members. This means we have open roles available for the 2026/2027 school year.
The FMS PTO Board is a small group of volunteers that work as a team with everyone having a voice and a vote. We’re always welcoming and never exclusive. We keep it casual but focused with everyone taking on as little or as much as they like. There’s never any pressure and there's always appreciation!
Please email us or attend an upcoming meeting to see how we work - we promise we’re a friendly group!
Thanks so much for your interest!
